2002 CROSS COUNTRY: Finished 44th (27:31) in the Princeton Invitational (9/14/02)...Ran second (24:37) in the Lehigh University Paul Short Run (9/28/02)...Captured first place (24:50) for the second consecutive year at the Metropolitan Championships (10/4/02). This was the first time in over 16 years a Jasper ran under 25 minutes at Van Cortlandt Park...Captured first place (15:21) at the Manhattan/Iona Invitational (10/18/02)...Placed third (24:51) in the 8K at the MAAC Championships (11/1/02)...Was the first Jasper across the finish line at 31:17 for 13th place at the NCAA Northeast Regionals (11/17/02).

1999 CROSS COUNTRY: Placed third (28:05) at the William Paterson Cross Country Invitational, his first collegiate meet...Finished sixth (26:00) at the IC4A University Division Race (10/15/99)...Posted a tenth place finish (26:29) at the Metropolitan Championships (10/1/99).

HIGH SCHOOL: Posted a ninth-place finish at Federations...Qualified for the state meet in the 1,600 meters and placed fourth as a senior...honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Major is political science and English...Parents are Brad and Pat Spring...A member of Sigma Tau Delta, which is an international English Honor Society...Spring is also a member of Epsilon Sigma Pi, which is a National Honor Society.
