Trailing 1-0 in the fifth inning, Manhattan tied it up as Barrella delivered a bases loaded RBI single.
The Jaspers then took their first lead of the game with runs in the sixth on a two-out Trochiano RBI single before Genners stole home on a double steal.
Stony Brook would get one back in the bottom part of the frame but stranded the tying run at third when sophomore RHP

Manhattan added an insurance run in the top of the eighth as Genners delivered a RBI single only to once again see the Seawolves respond with a run in the bottom part of the frame.
In the top of the ninth, the Jaspers put the game out of reach with one of their biggest innings in recent memory as nine-of-10 batters reached safely, including eight-straight on six hits and two walks, with Forlow crushing two of his three doubles.
Adam Genners paced the offense, going 3-for-4 with a triple, three RBI, two runs and a walk.
Lost in the shuffle was an outstanding job by the Jasper pitchers, which combined to yield three runs on just four hits over 9.0 innings with four strikeouts. Sophomore LHP Joe Chioncio (Bay Shore, NY / Belmont Abbey) earned the win, striking out one over 1.2 innings while reigning MAAC Pitcher of the Week sophomore RHP
