 Manhattan (11-22; 3-6 MAAC) returns to action against preseason favorite Quinnipiac (14-21; 4-5 MAAC) this weekend.

Last Time Out
Senior Chris Reynolds' base loaded RBI single, his second run-scoring single of the night, lifted the Jaspers to a thrilling 7-6 win over NYIT at MCU Park in Brooklyn. For Reynolds it was his first multi-hit and multi-RBI game of the year.

Pfenninger Steps Up
Lost in the shuffle of Tuesday's thrilling win was the performance by sophomore Michael Pfenninger as the Garden State native recorded his first career three-hit game while starting the 10th-inning rally with a leadoff single.

Comeback Kids
The victory for the fourth time this year that Manhattan won a game in which it was trailing by at least three runs.

Bullpen Steps Up Against NYIT
In the Jaspers' season sweep of the Bears, the bullpen posted a 2-0 record with a 2.57 ERA and 22 strikeouts, against just two walks, over 14.0 dominating innings. Junior Shawn Kanwisher earned both wins while striking out 11 over 7.0 innings of four-hit ball. Classmate RHP Michael Scarinci fanned a season-high five in both match-ups and worked 3.0 perfect innings on Tuesday. 

High Five
Manhattan pitching struck out the side five times over two games against NYIT this season.

April Showers
Scarinci has been outstanding in the month of April, posting a 2.20 ERA with 12 strikeouts over 16.1 innings of work.

Rocchietti Big Again
For the second-straight weekend, junior Joey Rocchietti stepped up big when the Jaspers needed him most. The righty turned in his second-straight complete game victory in an 8-2 win at Marist in the series finale. He struck out a career-high matching seven while not walking a batter for the third-straight start. Rocchietti did not allow a hit with runners in scoring position (0-for-7) or with two outs (0-for-10) and is now 4-3 with a team-low 3.76 ERA over a team-best  52.2 innings.

Pretty Good
Rocchietti has not walked a batter in 22.1 innings during MAAC play, striking out 13 during that time while limiting opposing hitters to a .195 average.

Brother In Arms
Freshman Anthony Rocchietti, younger brother of Joey, hit .417 (5-of-12) with two runs and a double last weekend at Marist.

Pena Named MAAC Rookie Of The Week ... Again
Freshman Fabian Pena earned his fourth MAAC Rookie of the Week citation after batting .500 (9-for-18) last week, including .545 over three games against Marist, with two doubles, two home runs and eight RBI. The Miami native crushed a pair of home runs in Saturday's doubleheader with the Red Foxes before capping his big week by going 3-for-5 with a career-high four RBI in the finale. On the year, Pena is hitting .333 while pacing the squad in doubles (12), home runs (5), RBI (30), slugging percentage (.553) and multi-RBI games (10).

Santisteban Keeps Smashing
MAAC Preseason Player of the Year senior Christian Santisteban continues to lead the squad in hitting (.349), hits (44), doubles (12), walks (17) and OBP (.432) while registering a team-best 14 multi-hit games.

Carrera Heating Up
Junior Jose Carrera has reached base safely in each of his last 15 games while batting .339 (19-of-56) during that time with six doubles, two triples and 10 walks. On the year, he is hitting .270 with a team-best 24 runs, 11 doubles, three triples, nine RBI, 14 walks and nine stolen bases.

100-Hit Club
Carrera became the 46th member of the Manhattan 100-hit club with his leadoff triple in the series finale against Marist.

Stat Of The Week
The last three Manhattan wins at home have come via walk-off fashion.

The Bobcats two-of-three against the Jaspers thanks to hitting .350 en route to scoring 22 runs.

The Bobcats own a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series, including 4-2 since the teams became MAAC rivals in 2014.

Three Years, Three Different Venues
Manhattan will be making its first-ever trip to the QU Baseball Field as the teams will be playing on their third different field in as many years as MAAC rivals.Two seasons ago, the teams' series was moved to Van Cortlandt Park before the squads squared off at Dutchess Stadium a year ago.

Santisteban Against QU
Over six career games against Quinnipiac, Santisteban is hitting .476 (10-of-21) with five doubles, one triple and seven RBI.

Jankins Against Manhattan
Bobcat game-one starter Thomas Jankins holds a 2-0 career record against the Jaspers with 1.20 ERA and 14 strikeouts over 15.0 innings.
