Riverdale, N.Y. (September 17, 2005)--Manhattan sophomore
Ashley Watson posted a nine-kill, 13-dig performance against the University of Tulsa, but Watson and the Lady Jaspers fell short in their second match at the Loyola Invitational by scores of 17-30, 21-30, 18-30.

Maggie Pfeifer pounded out a match-high 14 kills, while Sam Rutherford led the Tulsa squad with 11 kills. Rutherford was the only Tulsa player to record double-digit, but the Golden Hurricanes amassed a .342 team hitting percentage en route to the victory.
The Lady Jaspers were unable to gain momentum during the match, as Tulsa jumped out to early leads in all three games and did not look back from there.

Megan O'Dorisio also finished with a double-digit dig total of 11 to go with her seven kills.
Manhattan plays its final match at the Loyola Invitational in Chicago, Illinois tonight at 6 p.m, as they take on New York City foe Columbia University.
