Buffalo, NY (October 31, 2004)- Manhattan lost its third straight conference match today, falling to Canisius in three games. Game scores were 30-24, 30-18, 30-27. Kim Hoffman led the way with a double-double for Canisius with 16 kills and 16 digs, while
Maggie Pfeifer hit .344 with 12 kills and
Megan O'Dorisio posted 11 kills and 14 digs to pace the Lady Jaspers.
The Golden Griffs hit for a .309 percentage as a team, with an impressive .452 percentage in the second game.
Christina Wildes had a match-high 23 digs for Canisius, while
Ashley Davis again led Manhattan's defense with 16 digs.
Canisius improves its record to 10-13 overall and 3-3 in the MAAC. Meanwhile, Manhattan sees its record fall to 5-21 and 1-4 in the MAAC.
The Lady Jaspers will resume MAAC play on Wednesday, November 3, at home against Marist. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
