Coral Gables, FL - (August 30, 2003) - The Lady Jaspers dropped their third match of the season against Kent State University. In its third and final game of the Hurricane Invitational, Manhattan lost in four matches, with scores of 30-19, 28-30, 31-29 and 30-27.

Goedele 'Luka' Van Cauteren (Oetingen, Belgium) rounded out her great showing in the tournament by recording a triple double with 10 kills, 28 assists and 19 digs. Sophomore
Marija 'Maggie' Pfeifer (Liberty, MO) added 12 kills and 7 digs with a .370 hitting average.
For Kent State, Danielle Holt notched 23 kills, 15 digs with a .308 hitting average. Teammate Karry Griffin helped out in the win with 12 kills, 13 digs and had a .312 hitting average.
The Lady Jaspers will look to capture their first win when they head to Hempstead, NY this weekend for the Hofstra Tournament. They will face Hofstra and Albany on Saturday.
