New Burnswick, NJ (October 17, 2003) - The Lady Jaspers extend their winning streak to seven by beating Big East member Rutgers, with the scores of 23-30, 21-30, 30-23, 31-29, and 15-12. The Lady Jasper trailed by two games and won three straight to improve their record to 10-10 overall.

Luka Van Cauteren led the way for Manhattan with a triple-double which included 22 kills, 25 assists and 12 digs along with a .333 hitting percentage. Sophomore
Maggie Pfeifer added 14 kills with a .242 hitting percentage. Sophomore Lori Bambauer tallied 30 assists in the victory.
Leading the way for the Scarlet Knights were Dawn Chirstjaener who recorded 14 kills and 13 digs with a .259 hitting percentage and Shayla Bush who tallied 15 kills and 9 digs.
The Lady Jaspers head to Loudonville, NY on Sunday at 1:00 pm to face MAAC foe Siena.
