Here is a breakdown of the seven future Manhattan student-athletes:

Emma Boss (Holden, MA/Wachusett Regional) | Travel Team: FC Stars of Mass
Boss is a tough, left-footed defender that can tackle hard and help us get forward up the flank. She is from one of the top clubs in the country and understands what it means to compete, an understanding that will help her make her transition to the Division I level seamless. Boss is also a standout in the classroom, further enhancing the program's culture of academic success.

Coach Lawler on Boss:
“Emma will bring a level of grit to our already strong back line. We are looking forward to her development as a left-footed wide player, a luxury that many programs would love to have.”

Kelly Hasty (North Haledon, NJ/Paramus Catholic) | Team Team: Force FC
Hasty is a tough outside back that is a fighter with a strong tactical understanding of the individual role in a team's defensive strategy. She also has the ability to help her team get forward from deeper positions. Hasty is also an outstanding student that will fit in with our culture of academic success.

Coach Lawler on Hasty:
“Kelly has worked hard throughout her youth career to get to our program and it's that grit that we love about her. We know she will bring that style to Manhattan and should be a strong fit for our program.”

Arianna Montefusco (Levittown, NY/MacArthur) | Travel Team: Farmingdale Soccer Club
Montefusco is a versatile forward that can hold the ball as a target, face up her defenders on 1-v-1 situations and run the channels. As well, she has the technical ability to strike the ball in a multitude of ways to finish on goal. She has both the skillset and mindset to play an important role in our program while also bring the same work ethic to the classroom.

Coach Lawler on Montefusco:
“Arianna brings a great combination of power and finesse to the forward position with a strong desire to score goals. She has been a goal scorer at every level and should be able to continue that here.”

Camryn Nici (Seaford, NY/St. Anthony's) | Travel Team: East Meadow ECNL
Nici is a very strong shot stopper and excellent communicator from a fantastic club on Long Island. She has experienced great success as a goalkeeper in both club and high school soccer. This experience of knowing what it takes to compete at the highest level and win championships will help us build on the strong base of past recruiting classes with similar experience.  Additionally, Nici's outstanding work ethic in the classroom will only enhance the program's culture of academic success.

Coach Lawler on Nici:
“Camryn's experience on championship level teams will be huge as we try to make that next step as a program. Her shot-stopping ability will not only continue to improve but it will force our attackers to improve as well.”

Megan O'Connor (Hawthorne, NY/Westlake) | Travel Team: New York Soccer Club
O'Connor is a wide attacking player that can play as a winger in a 4-3-3 set or as a wide midfielder in other systems. She comes from a club system that values quality technical play and intelligent decision making.  Like the rest of the class, O'Connor will continue our program's success in the classroom.

Coach Lawler on O'Connor:
“Megan is a Jasper through and through, with a long family tradition at Manhattan College. We are excited she is choosing to continue that tradition, while using her attacking skills to help strengthen our program.”

Olivia Printy (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL/St. Joseph Academy) | Travel Team: Orlando City ECNL
Printy has both the physical ability and mindset to be very good. With the physical size to dominate in the air and the athleticism to make all of the big saves, she is expected to continue our strong goalkeeping legacy established over the last few years. Printy's similar zest for success in the classroom also will help enhance the program's academic reputation.

Lawler on Printy:
“Kara Davis and Kristen Skonieczny have set the bar high for all our future goalkeepers and we know Olivia has the ability to continue to set that bar higher. A strong leader and great communicator, she is expected to be a strong part of our program.”

Erin Sanders (Goshen, NY/Goshen) | Travel Team: Quickstrike FC
Sanders is a quick, hard-nosed attacking defender that looks to combine and can serve dangerous balls. Her work ethic is top-notch, which will help her easily fit in to our team culture. Sanders' versatility will help make the program deeper in different positions. A dedicated, proven student-athlete, she also pushes herself in the classroom as much as she does on the field.

Lawler on Sanders:
“Erin's ability to play in the midfield and back line will make us deeper across the board while her work ethic and team-centered approach is a great match for what we are about as a program.”

The seven student-athletes will join a Manhattan team that set a program-record with 21 points during league play en route to a runner-up finish at the 2015 MAAC Championship.
