SYRACUSE, NY – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Lacrosse team (4-4, 2-0 MAAC) fell to the #10 Syracuse Orange (6-2, 0-0 ACC) by a score of 18-2 inside the JMA Wireless Dome on Tuesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jaspers were on the defense rather quickly into the game, with goalkeeper Connor Hapward logging five saves in the first eight minutes of the contest.
- Off the fifth save in the sequence from Hapward, Manhattan cleared the ball, which allowed Drew Hiner to grab his own missed shot and bury the first goal of the game in the back of the net to put the Jaspers on the board first.
- After the Orange responded with three straight, the Jaspers found some momentum off a Syracuse turnover caused by Andrew Giandonato, who found Jack Miller to post the team's second goal of the game.

- Graduate goalkeeper Connor Hapward logged a career-high with 24 saves on the night. Hapward previously held a career-high of 21 against Fairfield on February 22.
