GENEVA, O.H. — Junior Jaila Williamson was the main talking point for the Jaspers on Day 2 of the MAAC Championships. Williamson soared to a pair of school records in the 50 yard freestyle event en route to a 9th place finish in the event.

Williamson delivered a time of 23.99s in the preliminary round before once again breaking the record with a time of 23.85s in the finals. Her performances broke the previous record of 24.73s set by Toni Segmuller in 2022.

AS IT STANDS
At the conclusion of Day Two at SPIRE Academy, Manhattan men's swimming and diving is in 8th place out of 9 teams, only leading Saint Peter's. The women rank 11th out of 12 with an edge over Saint Peter's.
