Jaspers Golf wraps up play at the Red Bandanna Invitational

Verona, NY — The Manhattan golf team wrapped up competition at the Red Bandanna Invitational held on Sunday and Monday at the Turning Stone Atunyote Course. The Jaspers placed ninth in the 11-team field.

-Junior Dimitri Mihelakos (+27) was tops among Jasper golfers through 54 holes.

-Freshman Cabell Faulkner had the top score after 18 holes with a +2. Faulkner finished second for the Jaspers with a +29.

-Host school Boston College came in first for the event named after Welles Crowther, a BC alum who tragically died on 9/11 while saving over a dozen lives. Crowther is known as the "Man in the Red Bandanna" for his heroic efforts.
