RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan men's lacrosse clinches the three seed after defeating Wagner 10-5.

Prior to the game, the Jaspers honored nine seniors this year. The nine senior Jaspers were Quinn Bowler, Paddy Fraser, Luke Gueci, Connor Hapward, Spencer Moore, Robert Pousak, Rhys Porteous, Michael Rasa, and Louden Sheehan. After the ceremony, the Jaspers got off to a hot start, outscoring the Seahawks 2-1 in the first quarter. They then proceeded to outscore them in every consecutive quarter until the end of the game.

The Jaspers' strongest quarter came in the second where they put up four goals, the highest quarter goal count between both teams. Among the goal scorers this quarter was James Basile, tonight's offensive leader for the Jaspers. Basile scored two of the four goals this quarter, one coming at the very start of the second and the next coming right before the end of the half.

The Jaspers proceeded to outscore the Seahawks 2-1 in both the third and fourth, further widening their margin of victory.

Leading the Jaspers this evening was Basile with a total of four goals. Basile also dished out one assist. On the defensive end, Hapward had a fantastic senior day match, totaling 12 saves while allowing only five goals.
