Update: Jaspers Playing Overseas

The Manhattan College men's basketball community has a wealth of former players competing overseas. Check out the latest top players and highlights courtesy of Eurobasket.

   #1. Zane Waterman (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2014-18, plays pro in Lithuania) could not help Nevezis (3-13) in their game last Saturday. Despite his outstanding performance, the bottom-ranked Nevezis was crushed 99-78 at home by the much higher-ranked Wolves (#3). Waterman scored a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds in 32 minutes. So far this season, Waterman has put up some impressive numbers despite his team's record. He averages 16.1ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.3apg.

   #2. Samir Stewart (6'0''-PG-1998, played in 2023-23, plays in Poland) was the major contributor in an SKS Starogard Gdanski's victory against the 12th-ranked HydroTruck (8-10), crushing them 95-70 in the Polish 1Liga (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 18 points and added four assists. It was his first game for SKS Starogard Gdanski this season; quite an impressive performance, considering it's only Stewart's first season in pro basketball. His team is placed seventh in the 1Liga.

   #3. Josh Roberts (6'9''-F-1999, played in 2021-23, currently in Australia) managed to help Cairns Taipans win against the second-ranked United (9-5) 95-78 in the Australian NBL last Sunday. He recorded four points and a pair of blocked shots in 11 minutes of play. Cairns Taipans (9-12) are placed seventh in the NBL. It's Roberts' first season with the team. This year, Roberts averages 2.9 ppg and 2.1 rpg.
