RIVERDALE, N,Y. - The Manhattan men's soccer team will hit the road for their second consecutive away conference match of the season. The Jaspers will play at Marist on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
The Path: The Jaspers enter the weekend with a 2-0-0 mark in league play after a 2-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's last week to begin Metro Athletic Association Conference (MAAC) play.
Leading the Way: Six different players have scored at least one goal this season, led by Sebastiano Musu's three goals. Henry Hamilton is next with two goals. Ensa Sanneh, Malo Blondeau, Gunnar Studenhofft, and Tony Yeboah have each scored one goal apiece for the Jaspers. Danny DiMarco has made seven starts at the goalkeeper position this season. He has made 26 saves at the goalkeeper spot after facing 74 shots.
All-Time Series: Marist leads the all-time series 15-10-2. The Jaspers won the last outing, 2-1, back in 2022. Ensa Sanneh scored the game-tying goal and Anthony Denis scored the game-winning goal.
Marist: Marist (3-3-2, 1-0-1 MAAC) is coming off a 1-1 tie to Niagara. They are led by Jared Juleau who has three goals and two assists for eight points. Luca Bulfon has started every match for Marist at the goalkeeper spot and has made 33 saves.
