Jaspers Excel in Hammer Throw at Day Two of IC4As/ECAC

FAIRFAX, Va. -- The trio of Mary Gill, Kristin Stickdorn and Alexandra Caraher turned in strong showings in the hammer throw on day two of the IC4A ECAC Championships on Saturday.

Gill earned a silver medal with a new PR of 58.70m (192").  Stickdorn joined Gill on the podium with a bronze medal with a mark of 58m (190"). Caraher slotted in at eighth with a top mark of 51.46m (168").

Kaya Simpson finished in ninth in the 100m hurdle prelim, finishing in 14.94. Nicola Scaglione posted a time of 17:31.32 in the 5000m while Nicola Scaglione finished in tenth in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:00.92.

Andrew Simard finished in ninth in the 800m with a time of 1:51.67. Ivan Lytovvhcenko leaped 1.89m for 13th in the high jump.
