RANDALL'S ISLAND, N.Y. – The Manhattan women's track and field team will return to Riverdale with a third-place finish in the 2023 Outdoor Metropolitan Championships at Icahn Stadium.

Manhattan returns to the track next week at the Larry Ellis Invite, hosted by Princeton.

"The Met Championship is always a key meet on our schedule," said Director of Track Kerri Inman (Gallagher). "Today was a great opportunity to execute point scoring as we continue to prepare for the MAAC Championships. I'm very happy with both teams' podium finishes today."

Andria Scaglione leaves the meet with the 5000m title, finishing almost a minute ahead of the second-place finisher, winning the race in 17:16.15. First and second place in the hammer throw belongs to the Green and White, with Mary Gill winning (55.85m) and Kristin Stickdorn coming in second (53.43m).

Stickdorn finished in second in the discus, with a top mark of 43.38m.

Stickdorn finished the shot put in third place with a top distance of 12.23m. Alexandra Caraher's best throw of 11.51m got her fifth place.

Isabella Sing took fourth in the 110m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 15.83. Fourth place in the long jump belongs to Anya Alfonsetti-Terry, leaping 5.28m. Skyle Lehr leaped to a seventh place finish with a mark of 15.27m.

In the 1500m, Nicola Scaglione finished in sixth with a time of 4:49.50. Ava Kowal made her Mets debut with a 13th-place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 1:06.57.
