RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College men's and women's cross country teams are ready for the ECAC/IC4A Championships taking place around the corner at Van Cortlandt Park.
 
The men's 8k race will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by the women's 5k race will begin at 11:30 a.m.
 
Women's Leaders
Andria Scaglione picked up her second conference weekly honor after a top showing at the Metropolitan Championships last weekend. She raced to a time of 17:30.87. Kylie Conroy ran a sub-19 time of 18:02.76 and Nicola Scaglione recorded a time of 18:15.24 for season bests for all three.
 
Men's Leaders
Jared Lautenslager's time of 24:47.68 leads the way in the 8k for Manhattan. Jaxon Newton is next with a time of 26:13.20.
 
Last Time Out
The women placed second at the Metropolitan Championships. Andria Scgalione placed second in the 5K, just 21 seconds behind first place to help lift the women to their runner-up finish. The men were led by Lautenslager, who paced himself well to record a time of 24:47.68. His time was just four seconds behind first place as he recorded a runner-up finish. Jaxon Newton raced to a time of 26:13.20 for a top-20 placing., while Dean Mayo was right behind him with a time of 26:39.48.

MAAC Championships
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) selected Manhattan College as the host institution for the 2023 MAAC Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships. Manhattan will host the championships at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The 2023 championships will be the first time the races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in the 43-year history of the MAAC.
