Gill Sets New PR At Ramapo Opener

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Mary Gill set a new PR this afternoon at the Ramapo Opener, winning the weight throw with a top throw of 17.44.

Kristin Stickdorn competed in both the shot put and the weight throw. In the shot put, her top throw landed her at 11.88m, the winner in the event had a max distance of 12.66. In the weight throw, her second-place mark came from a 17.49 throw.

Andria Scaglione took home first place in the 5000m, crossing the finish line in 18:02.17. Makayla Dorvil and Isabella Sing finished in fifth and seventh in the 60m hurdles, clocking in times of 9.59 and 9.62 respectively. Sing also took home fifth place in the long jump, landing at 5.22.

Ava Kowal finished in seventh place in 600m, clocking in a final time of 1:48.20

The Jaspers race again next week in the Dr. Sander Invite from Friday, Jan. 27-28.
