RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan women's cross country team will return to the Crossings at Colonie for the 2022 MAAC Cross Country Championship on Saturday.

This is the second time the Jaspers will run the Crossing of Colonie, with the Jaspers taking on the course back at the Siena Invite on Sept. 10, which was the team's second race of the season. 

"The MAAC Championship is the pinnacle of our season, and both the men's and women's teams have been focusing on their effort, attitude, and intention throughout this season," said Director of Cross Country Kerri Gallagher. "I am excited for them to go out and make the most of this experience."

Last year, the championship was held at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla., where the Jaspers finished in eighth.

Andria Scaglione has raced well all year, winning two meets thus far, the Jasper XC Fall Classic and the Metropolitan Championships at Van Cortlandt Park. Her sister, Nicola Scaglione, also finished top-five at the Metropolitan Championships.
