Manhattan Wraps Up Nassau Invitational

GLEN COVE, N.Y. - Manhattan golf concluded the Nassau Invitational today in 10th place after playing their third and final round today. The Jaspers shot a 312 (+32), putting their final overall score at 922 (+82). 
 
David Mlynek continued to lead the team shooting an even-par 70 today to finish his tournament. His effort was enough to place himself T11th individually with a final score of 218 (+8) throughout the three rounds. Finishing in second for the Jaspers this tournament was Colby Norton, who shot a 230 (+20), placing T39th individually.
 
St. John's won the tournament shooting an 858 (+18) on a course where no other school was able to finish within 30 strokes of par. Individually, St John's Tyler Gerbavsits was the champion shooting an impressive 208 (-2).
 
Manhattan next hits the links October 31st-November 1st at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship in West Orange, NJ.
