RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Manhattan's swimming and diving teams prepare to face St. Francis Brooklyn at home on Saturday, marking the first home meet for the Jaspers since Jan. 26, 2020, against Iona.
The Green and White return home this weekend after facing Fordham on Oct. 14, resulting in a loss for both the men's and women's teams.
In last week's meet, the women's team secured first and second place in the 200-yard relay with final times of 1:49.98 and 1:53.28. The women's team also took second place in the 100-yard backstroke race, earned by
Teddy Segmuller.
The men's team secured first place in the 100-yard IM credited to
Jorge Flechas with a final time of 1:09.80. Manhattan also took first and second place in the 200-yard free relay, with Fordham taking second, third, and fourth.
Saturday will be the first time the Jaspers host another team at the Jeffrey H. Loria Family Aquatic Center, the new training and competition pool for the Jaspers.
