Springfield, MA - A trio of Manhattan student-athletes registered solid marks on day two of the IC4A/ECAC Championships at the John G. Hoyt '52 Track & Field Complex.

* Senior Alexandra Preckajlo (Ocean, NJ / St. Rose) took fourth in the shot put with a throw of 14.37 meters, while classmate Lasma Padedze (Ogre, Lativia / Ogre Secondary School No. 1) was fifth with a toss of 13.96 meters.

* In the high jump, senior Cassie Riley (Fair Haven, NJ / Red Bank Catholic) cleared a height of 1.61 meters in taking seventh.

* Tomorrow, Padedze, Preckajlo and junior Nina Bjorkman (Vasteras, Sweden / Widenska Idrottsgymnasium) will all compete in the discus at 11:00 am, with senior Alexander (A.J.) Moore (Colonia, NJ / John F. Kennedy) running in the 400-meter dash at 12:00 pm.
