Jersey City, NJ
– Freshman Dillon Kadish (Hollywood, FL/ Nova) keeps raising the bar as the rookie diver bettered his own school record in the three-meter dive with a score of 271.15, more than 12 points higher than the mark he set in October.

The first-year standout and the rest of the divers competed at the NYU Fall Diving invite, while the swimmers traveled to Jersey City. The women competed against both Kean and Saint Peter's on the women's side, with the men squaring off with the Peacocks.

Kadish was rewarded with not only a record breaking score, but a fourth place finish.

Sophomore Lexington Passamonte (Rochester, NY / Greece Athena) continued the success on the boards for the Jaspers, recording a fourth-place finish with a score of 204.40 in the one-meter event.

In Jersey City, freshman Mackenzie Tuttle (Highland Mills, NY / Monroe-Woodbury) recorded three top-two finishes. In the 500 yard free, she finished with a time of 5.18.18, enough to earn first place while lowering her own school record. Tuttle also took second in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 29.75, and started the 800 relay that was second, along with freshman Ciara Dalton (Pleasantville, NY / Byram Hills), sophomore Sarah Hamilton (Northland, NZ / St. Cuthbert's College) and senior Kali Nembach (Lynbrook, NY / Lynbrook), as the foursome posted a time of 8.22.52.

Dalton also had a strong day, earning a victory in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:16.92, while finishing second in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard butterfly.

Manhattan went 1-2 in the 50-yard freestyle as Nembach and sophomore Jamie Quinn (Fairfax, VA / WT Woodson) earned first and second place, respectively, for the Jaspers with times of 25.50 and 26.27.

Nembach also crossed the line first in the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:04.74, while earning second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.68.

On the men's side, the 200-yard medley relay team of junior Artur Polyak (Haifa, Israel / Pittsburgh), senior Timothy Valentine (Massapequa, NY / Chaminade), sophomore Kyle Bergin (Lynbrook, NY / Lynbrook Senior) and junior Charles Ledda (New Fairfield, CT / New Fairfield) finished second with a time 1:36.51.

Polyak also captured the 100-yard backstroke title with a time of 55.09, while Valentine finished second in both the 50-yard and 100-yard breaststroke. Bergin was second in the 50-yard freestyle (22.16) while senior Liam Ridge (Pearl River, NY / Albertus Magnus) earned second place in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.50).

For the dual-meet, the Manhattan men's team fell to Saint Peter's 207-64, while the women's team split on the day, besting Kean 167-64 while falling to Saint Peter's 174-94.

Manhattan returns to action next weekend, a tri-match on November 16 against Siena and Monmouth.
