Wappingers Falls, NY - Both the men's and women's Manhattan cross country teams took fourth place in the Army West Point Open Friday, September 14 at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, NY.

Lisa Fajardo (Brooklyn, NY / Bishop Kearney) crossed the finish line first for the Jasper women, while senior
Christian McLaughlin (Allenhurst, NJ / Christian Brothers Academy) was the men's best finisher.
Highlights:
- Temple earned first-place team finishes in both the men's and women's races, while also earning the top-three individual finishes in both races. Temple's top male performer, Zach Seiger, finished the course in 23:51.6. The Owls' Grace Moore earned first in the women's race, finishing in a time of 19:21.2.
- The Temple men compiled a team average time of 23:58 with a winning total of 19 points. Manhattan's average time totaled 25:50, with 107 points.
- In the women's race, the Owls averaged a time of 19:53, while grabbing 19 points. The Manhattan women averaged a time of 21:47, for 106 points.
- Fajardo finished fourth in the women's race with a time of 19:47.1, a career high for a 5.6K race.
- McLaughlin, who finished 18th overall, completed the men's 7.6K race with a time of 25:08.7, also a personal best.
- The Jaspers posted eight top-50 finishes in the men's race, including junior Patrick Hennelly (Suffern, NY / Suffern) in 23rd place with a time of 25.28.4, and freshman Ryan Tierney (Staten Island, NY / St. Peter's) in 33rd place with a time of 25.58.1.
- The Manhattan women nabbed four top-50 spots in their race, including senior Keeley Hogan (Delmar, NY / Bethlehem Central), who finished 21st with a time of 21:16.5, and senior Gianna Tinto (Kings Park, NY / Smithtown West), who finished 25th overall with a time of 22:10.7.
- Army West Point took a team second in the men's race, followed by George Washington.
- The Colonials took second in the women's race, followed by Army.
