Winners of three in a row, Manhattan (3-2) returns to action against No. 8 Virginia (4-1) on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:00 pm before traveling to UMass Lowell (1-3) on Saturday, March 10 with opening face-off tabbed for 1:00 pm.

PARKER HITS PAYDIRT
Junior Parker Giarratana scored two goals with two assists in becoming the eighth member of the Jaspers' 100-point club in the win over Bellarmine. He paces the squad in goals (10), assists (8) and points (18). For his career, the Sunshine state native now has 70 goals, 31 assists and 21 multi-goal games. His 70 goals also rank eighth in school history and are one behind Nick Silva for seventh place.

ZINGARO, MACKINNEY EARN MAAC WEEKLY ACCOLADES
Senior Michael Zingaro earned his second career MAAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade after leading Manhattan to a pair of wins while freshman Sean MacKinney earned Rookie of the Week honors.
* Zingaro dominated behind the pipes to the a tune of a .609 save percentage while averaging 14.0 saves per game. He notched 16 stops in the win over Bellarmine and 12 in the victory over Lafayette. Over the two games, he also did not yield a fourth-quarter score.
* MacKinney tallied seven goals in leading the Jaspers to wins at Lafayette and against Bellarmine. The attack found the back of the net four times in the victory over the Knights, and totaled three ground balls after beginning the week with three scores against the Leopards.
- On the year, he is second on the team with nine goals.

SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST
Manhattan has outscored the opposition 3-0 in the fourth quarter in each of the last two games and the opposition 13-6 in the final stanza this year.

BELLARMINE RECAP
Manhattan erased a two-goal, fourth-quarter deficit in posting its third-straight victory as sophomore Brandon Grinnell scored the game-winner off a pass from classmate Trevor Pelletier with 2:47 to play in regulation.

LAFAYETTE RECAP
The Jaspers scored three unanswered goals in breaking a fourth-quarter stalemate en route to registering a 12-9 win over Lafayette. The defense was outstanding in decisive stanza in forcing eight turnovers while holding firm on a key one-minute penalty when the score was tied at 9-9, before answering with three-straight scores.

ALL ABOUT ZINGARO
- Zingaro has now yielded less than 10 goals in five of his last six starts and 11 times in his career.
- He has also registered double-figures in saves 31 times.
- On the year, he leads the MAAC and ranks 13th nationally in save percentage (.568).

SCOUTING VIRGINIA
The Cavaliers are 4-1 and ranked eighth in the country after most recently dropping a one-goal decision to Syracuse on Sunday. Michael Kraus (12 goals, 9 assists) paces UVA with Ian Laviano (16 goals, 3 assists), Dox Aitken (11 goals, 6 assists) and Mike D'Amario (10 goals, 2 assists) lead the way on offense.

ALL-TIME VS. UVA/ACC
Virginia defeated Manhattan 18-2 on February 26, 2006 in the lone match-up between the teams. All-time, the Jaspers are 0-4 against the ACC and last played against a member school (UNC) on March 14, 2016.

SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks sport a deceiving 1-3 record with all four matches being decided by one goal. UMass Lowell is paced by the trio of Sean Tyrrell (7 goals, 7 assists), Austin Lane (9 goals, 2 assists) and Jon Phillips (8 goals, 2 assists).

MAACACTION
UMass Lowell has defeated Quinnipiac (13-12) while losing to Siena (14-13) and Monmouth (9-8).

ALL-TIME AGAINST UMASS LOWELL
The teams have split both meetings with the road team coming out victorious each time. Last season, the River Hawks posted a 13-6 victory at Gaelic Park after the Jaspers won in Lowell by an 8-5 count on March 12, 2016.
