Manhattan Continues Homestand Against LIU Brooklyn

Manhattan (2-1) will play host to LIU Brooklyn (0-2) on Wednesday, March 2 at 3:00 pm.


Series History
The Jaspers and the Blackbirds resume their series after not playing last season. Previously, the teams had squared off in seven-straight seasons between 2008 and 2014. LIU Brooklyn defeated Manhattan in 2014 by a 15-8 score while snapping a six-game Jasper winning streak.

The Second Leg 
Wednesday's matchup against LIU Brooklyn will be the second of three-straight at Gaelic Park.

We're Going Streaking
With a win, the Jaspers would post their first winning streak since the 2014 season.
 
Early Brilliance From Fritpatrick 
Over his first three collegiate games, freshman Molly Fitzpatrick (Yorktown, NY / Lakeland) leads Manhattan in both points (10) and goals (9).The last time out against UMass Lowell, she notched four scores in the victory. 

Yarusso's Hat Trick
Senior Megan Yarusso (Brewster, NY / Brewster) found the back of the net three times against the River Hawks with two of them coming in the first half and one in the second.

Game-Winning Ranagan
Classmate Stefanie Ranagan's (Yorktown Heights, NY / Yorktown) second goal against UMass Lowell in overtime gave the Jaspers a walk-off victory.
