KID'S DAY OUT
This is the sixth consecutive year in which the Jaspers are hosting “Kid's Day Out” at Draddy Gymnasium. An initiative started by the MAAC, each of the conference's 11 schools designates one home game each season as “Kid's Day Out,” where they invite students at local elementary schools onto campus for a women's basketball game. Manhattan is happy to welcome more than 750 students from Community School 300, P.S. 86, P.S. 93 and P.S. 107. The students wrote essays on the topic of teamwork, with the winners being presented t-shirts at halftime. Several Manhattan College student-athletes also spoke about the importance of teamwork in their respective sports.
