QUICK HITS
* In the teams' first meeting, Manhattan limited a depleted Marist squad, which was without its top two scorers, to just 38 points.

* The 38 points are the fewest allowed by a MAAC team this season and the fewest yielded by the Jaspers since limiting Fairfield to 31 in a three-point victory on March 1, 2013.

* Manhattan also held the Red Foxes to a MAAC-low 19.5 percent shooting. The performance was the best by a Jasper team since limiting Iona to 18.6 percent shooting on Feb. 9, 2009.

* In the all-time series, Manhattan holds a 27-15 advantage, including 21-14 since Marist joined the MAAC for the 1997-1998 season.

* The Jaspers are just 6-11 when playing in Poughkeepsie but have won three of the last four match-ups at McCann Arena.

* Steve Masiello is 6-1, all-time, against Marist as a head coach after going 6-2 as an assistant.

* Masiello moved into a tie with Edward Hanrahan for sixth place for the most wins (74) in school history.

* Manhattan snapped a 10-game losing streak to Siena at the Times Union Center in its last time out thanks to a career-high matching 15 points from RaShawn Stores.

* All 15 of Stores' points came after halftime and were fueled by a career-high matching four three pointers, highlighted by a backbreaking triple with just 18 seconds to play that put the game on ice.

* Stores went 4-for-6 from distance and is now shooting a blistering 61.5 (16-of-26) percent from long range in the second half of MAAC games, including 66.7 percent (6-of-9) in the final five minutes.

* The Jaspers also improved to 11-0 when leading at halftime and 4-0 when scoring at least 20 points.

* Manhattan has had 65.4 percent of its games decided by 10 points or less. The Jaspers are also 9-3 during MAAC play during that play thanks to shooting 72.7 percent from the line in the final five minutes. Over his first three seasons, Masiello and the Jaspers were just 14-19 in MAAC games decided by 10 points or less.

* With its most recent win, Manhattan improved to 15-4 in the months of February & March over the last two years and is 21-6 since the 2012-2013 season.

* Stores, who narrowly missed his first career double-double in the win at Monmouth, is second in the MAAC in three point percentage (.417) and eighth in assists (2.9/game). During league play, he paces the MAAC in three-point percentage (.490) and assist/turnover ratio (3.0) while ranking seventh in assists (3.6/game) and 14th in steals (1.2/game).

* Senior Emmy Andujar recorded his fifth double-double of the season against Siena and the ninth of his career with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

* Andujar also added five assists while becoming the first player in school history to record 1,200 points, 700 rebounds, 300 assists and 150 steals.

* Andujar, who averaged 18.5 ppg and 8.5 rpg over two games a the Saints this year, has notched at least 20 points eight times in last 13 games, and is averaging 19.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 3.7 apg and 2.5 spg during that time, highlighted by a season-high 27 points at Monmouth.

* Andujar is the only MAAC player to rank among the top-six in the league in scoring (16.6-6th), rebounding (7.4-5th), assists (3.4-6th) and steals (2.1-2nd) (22nd NCAA) while pacing the Jaspers in all four categories.  He is also fourth in the league in field goal percentage (.516) (66th NCAA).

* Andujar is 19th in school history with 1,236 points, eighth with 341 assists, seventh with 154 steals and just outside the top-10 with 710 rebounds.

* Andujar (22) and junior Shane Richards (20) each scored at least 20 points in the same game for the fourth time this season in Manhattan's 79-70 win over Fairfield.

* Richards scored 13 points with five rebounds at Siena after scoring all 20 of his points against Fairfield in the second half on 6-of-9 shooting, including 4-of-5 from deep.

* He has now hit for at least 20 points on seven occasions while converting at least three triples in 45 of his 91 games, and at least four in 24 games. When the New York City native hits at least four, the Jaspers are 17-7, including 13-4 over the last two seasons.

* Richards, who recently became the first player in school history with 200 three pointers (currently 216), is now just three triples shy of his single-season school record of 77 that he shares with Jeff Xavier.

* Richards ranks among the MAAC leaders in scoring (13.5 ppg-12th), three pointers/game (2.8-3rd) (28th NCAA), three-point field goal percentage (.379-10th) and free throw percentage (.805-5th).

* The Maryland transfer has been outstanding over his last 13 games, averaging 16.1 ppg and 6.8 rpg while hitting for at least 15 points on 10 occasions.

* Pankey, like Andujar, notched a double-double against Rider with 16 points and a career-high 12 rebounds as Manhattan had two players record double-doubles in the same game for the first time since George Beamon (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Demetrius Jemison (13 points, 10 rebounds) did so at Loyola on Jan. 20, 2011.

* Pankey ranks among the MAAC leaders in scoring (13.0 ppg-14th), rebounding (6.5 rpg-8th), field goal percentage (.538-3rd) and blocks (1.4 bpg-4th) while hitting for at least 20 points on two occasions - including a career-high 23 in the first meeting with Fairfield.

* Manhattan recorded at least 10 steals for the sixth time this year against Fairfield, finishing with a season-best 15, which represents the most by the Jaspers since pressuring Buffalo into 16 in an overtime victory a year ago.

* Over the last two seasons, Manhattan is 16-1 when recording at least 10 steals and are 27-4 during Steve Masiello's tenure, including 19-1 against MAAC opposition.

* Manhattan also forced 20 Fairfield turnovers, marking the ninth time this season the Jaspers have turned an opponent over at least 20 times.

* Manhattan's performance against Fairfield came on the heels of pressuring Iona into 21 miscues, which were the most since the Gaels were forced into 23 turnovers at Hofstra on Dec. 29, 2011.

* Thanks to  a +12 turnover margin against Fairfield and a +10 differential against Iona, Manhattan is second in the MAAC and 46th nationally with a +2.2 turnover margin.

* When playing at Draddy Gymnasium, Manhattan is 8-2 this year and has won 12-of-14 and 17-of-20. Additionally, the Jaspers are 34-13 at home under Masiello.
