JASPERS GAME NIGHT
After snapping its three-game losing streak with an 80-56 triumph over Brown on Sunday afternoon, Manhattan (2-3) visits Yale (4-3) looking to knock off its second Ivy League opponent in a row.  The Bulldogs have dropped two of their last three, including a 70-60 loss to West Virginia in the Hall of Fame Women's Challenge at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday.  This is the first meeting between the schools since Dec. 5, 1987, as well as the first game of a span where Manhattan plays seven out of nine on the road.  The Jaspers return home on Friday night for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opener against Niagara.

MANHATTAN BREAKDOWN
The Jaspers put an end their three-game skid with a dominant 80-56 victory over Brown at Draddy Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.  Sophomore guard Taylor Williams had 25 points in the contest to raise her season average to 8.8 points per game.  Sophomore guard Amani Tatum is Manhattan's leading scorer.  She tallies 13.0 points per outing to go along with 2.4 steals per contest.  Sophomore guard Nyasha Irizarry adds 9.5 points a night, while sophomore center Kayla Grimme tallies 7.6 points per outing t to go along with a league-leading 10.0 rebounds per game.  Grimme also ranks third nationally with 3.8 blocks per contest.  Senior guard Blake Underhill, meanwhile, dishes out a team-high 3.2 assists a night, and she adds 2.1 steals per game.  The Jaspers return home to open conference play against Niagara on Friday night before hitting the road again for a matchup at defending MAAC champion Quinnipiac on Sunday.

YALE BREAKDOWN
After starting the season 3-1, Yale (4-3) has lost two of its last three, including a 70-60 defeat against West Virginia on Sunday afternoon.  The Bulldogs, under first-year Head Coach Allison Guth, have already earned victories over Iona, Fairleigh Dickinson and Holy Cross, all of whom are also on Manhattan's schedule, this season.  Senior guard Nyasha Sarju is the Bulldogs' top scorer and rebounder.  She averages 16.4 points and 6.3 boards per game.  Senior guard Whitney Wyckoff, meanwhile, tallies 10.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per outing to go along with 3.0 assists a night.  Sophomore guard Mary Ann Santucci leads the team with 3.9 assists per contest off the bench, while junior guard Meghan McIntyre hands out 2.6 assists per game and senior center Emmy Allen records 1.6 blocks per contest.  This is the start of a three-game homestand for the Bulldogs, who take on Army West Point on Thursday night before facing Wagner on Sunday.

ALL-TIME SERIES
This is the ninth all-time meeting between the Jaspers and Bulldogs, but the first in nearly 28 years.  On Dec. 5, 1987, Manhattan posted a 71-68 triumph in double overtime at the Loyola Tournament.  The programs also met in seven consecutive seasons from 1979-80 to 1985-86, and the all-time series is even at 4-4.  Manhattan hasn't played on Yale's campus since Jan. 14, 1986, when the Bulldogs came away with a 59-50 victory.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Taylor Williams erupted for a career-high 25 points, as the Jaspers snapped their three-game losing streak with a dominant 80-56 victory over Brown at Draddy Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.  Williams scored five points in the first four minutes of the game to help the Jaspers build a 7-1 advantage.  Manhattan led 14-11 at the end of the first quarter and held a 35-23 edge at halftime.  Brown pulled within one at 42-41 midway through the third quarter, but the Jaspers ended the period on a 12-2 run to go up 54-43 in an eventual 80-56 triumph.  Manhattan outrebounded Brown 60-32, its first 60-rebound performance in 22 years.  Crystal Ross grabbed 12 boards, while Kayla Grimme nearly had a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.  Amani Tatum chipped in 17 points for the Jaspers.

HOMECOMING KING
Tonight's game is a homecoming of sorts for first-year Assistant Coach Brandon Gade.  Gade came to Manhattan after one season at Yale, and he helped the Bulldogs post a 13-15 record, including a 7-7 mark in the Ivy League, in 2014-15.
