JASPERS GAME NIGHT
The Jaspers (1-2) hit the road for the first time since their season opener looking to snap a two-game skid.  Manhattan is coming off a 61-56 loss to Bucknell at Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.  New Hampshire (3-1) suffered its first loss of the season, 67-60 to Penn, on Sunday.  This is Manhattan's fourth game in 10 days to start the season, as well as the Jaspers' first visit to New Hampshire in four seasons.  The Jaspers picked up an 85-78 win at Fairleigh Dickinson on Nov. 14 in their only road game of the season thus far.  Following tonight's game, Manhattan will be off until Sunday, when Brown comes to Riverdale.

MANHATTAN BREAKDOWN
Manhattan (1-2) has lost each of its last two games, including a 61-56 defeat against Bucknell on Saturday afternoon.  This is the Jaspers' first road game since their season-opening 85-78 victory at Fairleigh Dickinson on Nov. 14.  Sophomore guard Amani Tatum paces the Jaspers with 11.0 points per outing, while sophomore guard Nyasha Irizarry tallies 10.0 points per contest.  Irizarry is Manhattan's top three-point shooter.  She drains 2.0 treys per game.  Senior center Crystal Ross, who had 16 points in the loss to Bucknell, contributes 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while sophomore center Kayla Grimme grabs a team-high 9.7 boards a night.  Grimme also averages 6.3 points and 4.0 blocks per game.  Senior guard Blake Underhill distributes 4.3 assists per outing to go along with 6.3 points a night.  She also leads the team with 2.3 steals per contest.  After opening the season with four games in 10 days, the Jaspers don't play again until hosting Brown on Sunday.

NEW HAMPSHIRE BREAKDOWN
New Hampshire (3-1) dropped a 67-60 decision to Penn in its home opener on Sunday afternoon for its first loss of the season.  Senior guard Elizabeth Belanger, a Preseason All-America East selection, leads the Wildcats in both scoring and rebounding.  She averages 15.5 points and 8.5 boards per contest.  Senior forward Corinne Coia adds 14.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per outing, while sophomore center Carlie Pogue tallies 13.3 points a night.  Senior guard/forward Stephanie Spoto, meanwhile, contributes 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game off the bench.  Junior guard Kristen Anderson hands out a team-high 4.0 assists per contest, and sophomore guard Aliza Simpson pulls down 5.8 boards per game to go along with 2.5 steals per outing.  The Wildcats, who were picked third in the America East Preseason Poll, visit Central Connecticut State on Sunday before beginning a three-game homestand against Northeastern.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Manhattan is meeting New Hampshire for the second consecutive season and the eighth time in school history.  The Wildcats took a 4-3 lead in the all-time series with a 58-54 triumph at Draddy Gymnasium on Dec. 28, 2014.  New Hampshire has won two straight overall against the Jaspers, including a 57-42 victory in Durham on Dec. 9, 2011.  Manhattan last beat the Wildcats on Dec. 3, 2010, a 57-42 win in Riverdale.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Jaspers overcame a 12-point first-quarter deficit to tie Bucknell after three on Saturday at Draddy Gymnasium.  It was still deadlocked midway thru the fourth before the Bison pulled away late for a 61-56 victory.  Bucknell led 16-4 barely seven minutes in, but Manhattan ended the first quarter on a 10-2 run to cut the margin to four, 18-14.  It was still a four-point game, 24-20, at halftime.  The Jaspers evened the score at 38-38 after three, and it was 43-43 with 5:01 remaining when Bucknell went on a 12-4 run to take an eight-point advantage, 55-47.  The Bison still led by eight with six seconds left when Maeve Parahus hit a three to make the final score 61-56.  Crystal Ross led the Jaspers with 16 points and Nyasha Irizarry added eight points.  Kayla Grimme, meanwhile, pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
