OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. - The Manhattan golf team placed fourth in its final tournament of the fall at the Glen Oaks Club on Monday afternoon. The invitational included a 27-hole setup, with each golfer playing all three 9-hole tracks at the venue. The course played as a par-108.
Sophomore Charles Seward (Tampa, Fla. / Freedom) led the Jaspers with a 113 (+5) on the day, and finished tied for third, individually.
Fellow sophomore Ryan Lynch (Boynton Beach, Fla. / Park Vista) concluded his day with a 115 (+7) to finish as Manhattan's second lowest scorer.
Junior Jon Keyes (Bayport, N.Y. / Bayport-Blue Point) ended the day just one stroke behind Lynch, with a 116 (+8).
Senior Ross Ketner (Huntington, N.Y. / Saint Anthony's) and sophomore Johnny Schob (Huntington, N.Y. / Salisbury School) finished the 27-hole event with identical marks of 120 (+12).
Manhattan will return to action in the spring, with a full slate scheduled to be released closer to the date of the team's first competition.
