MALVERN, Pa. - The Jaspers concluded Day 2 of the Wildcat Invitational with a team score of 311, which was good for their lowest team score in any of the three rounds. Manhattan finished its season-opening tournament in 15th place.

Senior Chris Calabro was the low-man for Manhattan in round three, filling his scorecard out nicely with a 73 (+2). Paul Toohey continued his strong play, finishing the tournament with a 78 (+7) for a three-round total of 231 (+18). Toohey's score was the lowest of any Jasper at the invitational.

Sophomore Michael Giannico impressed over his final 18 holes, returning to the clubhouse with a 79 (+8), for his best round of the tournament.

Columbia, Army and Binghamton finished the tournament first, second and third respectively.

The Jaspers are back in action on Saturday, April 5, when they head to Hellertown, Pa., to compete in the Lafayette Spring Invitational. The event will begin with a practice round on Saturday at noon. Round 1 will take place on Sunday, with the final 18 holes scheduled for Monday.
