NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's swim team competed for the fourth straight day, earning a dominant meet victory over Hunter on Monday night. After taking part in the ECAC's over the weekend, the Jaspers didn't skip winning the first seven events en route to a 53-49 victory.

Kerry Schuermann, Brianne Grant, Paige Raccioppi, and Melanie Tam started things out well with a win in the 400 yard medley relay (4:34.46 seconds). Kim Geissler would follow it up with a victory in the 1000 yard freestyle as well. Freshman Michaela Schatz picked up an individual victory of her own in the 200 yard free, finishing with a time of 2:10.54 seconds while Tam and Raccioppi would win two individual events of their own.

Tam touched the wall first in the 50 free and the 100 yard butterfly while Raccioppi was victorious in both the 200 yard Individual Medley and the 100 yard freestyle. The Jaspers depth was instrumental in the victory as they had two swimmers earn points in each event, building up a 53-8 lead, clinching the meet with four events remaining.

Manhattan (5-2) will return to action on Fri., Dec. 7 when they travel to Jersey City, N.J. for a tri-meet with Montclair State and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) rival Saint Peter's.
