Manhattan (2-11, 0-3 MAAC)
Manhattan will play its next three games over a five day span, hosting MAAC contests with Loyola (Jan. 7) and Marist (Jan. 9), before making its second trip to the Sunshine State to face Florida Atlantic on Tuesday. The Jaspers are coming off a hard-fought 88-78 loss at Rider on Monday and they are in search of their first victory in 11 games.
The Jaspers now have 12 healthy players, after working with a limited rotation for the first part of the season. Graduate student Demetrius Jemison is averaging 11.3 points and 7.8 rebounds since he received clearance from the NCAA on Dec. 10. Jemison has recorded three double-digit scoring efforts in four starts, and he is coming off a season-high 15 point performance at Rider on Monday shooting 7-for-12 from the field.
Sophomore guard George Beamon has anchored the Jaspers' offense this season averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game, which ranks fourth in the MAAC. Beamon has posted three 20+ point performances in the last four games and has tallied double-figures 11 of 13 appearances. Beamon exploded for a career-high 24 points, while recording his fifth double-double against Rider.
Rhamel Brown has been a major defensive presence down low this season. The 6'6" freshman forward from Brooklyn leads the MAAC with 29 blocks and he is fourth in the league with 8.0 rebounds per game. Junior guard Kidani Brutus has been the Jaspers top gunner from downtown, hitting 23 of the Jaspers' 46 3-pointers this season. Brutus is averaging 9.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13 appearances.
Loyola (5-8, 1-2 MAAC)
Loyola is coming off its fifth victory of the season knocking off Marist 83-67 on Monday in Baltimore. Junior forward Shane Walker led the Greyhounds with 19 points and eight rebounds to erase Loyola's three game skid.

In his last four starts, Etherly has posted double-figures four times, including a career-high 17 points in a victory over Mount St. Mary's on Dec. 11. Etherly had his first career double-double at Howard on Dec. 22.
Senior guard Brian Rudolph worked his way into the starting line up for the last three games, playing 30+ minutes in each appearance. Rudolph has posted 5.3 points and 4.1 assists per game this season.
