TODAY'S GAME
The Lady Jaspers (7-8, 2-2 MAAC) take to the national stage this afternoon as they wrap up a three-game road trip against Loyola (8-7, 3-1 MAAC) live on ESPNU.  Manhattan split the Buffalo trip last weekend, knocking off Niagara 70-54 before falling to Canisius, 69-65 in double overtime.  Loyola has won four of its last five games, including the last two.  The Greyhounds posted a 64-50 home victory over Rider last Friday, then won 69-55 at Saint Peter's on Sunday.

ABOUT MANHATTAN
Manhattan concludes a three-game road trip this afternoon looking to even its overall record at 8-8.  The Lady Jaspers split last weekend's Buffalo trip, beating Niagara 70-54, then falling to Canisius, 69-65 in double overtime.  Sophomore forward Lindsey Loutsenhizer tied a career-high with 19 points in the Canisius game and is averaging 16.3 points per game in MAAC play.  Overall, Loutsenhizer ranks second on the team with 13.5 points per game, and she leads the Lady Jaspers with 6.5 rebounds per contest.  Senior guard Michelle Pacheco paces Manhattan with 15.5 points per game.  She also distributes 5.5 assists per game, which leads the MAAC, and swipes 2.8 steals per contest, the third-best mark in the league.  Junior guard Abby Wentworth averages 10.4 points per game and ranks fourth in the MAAC with 2.7 steals per game.  Sophomore forward Nadia Peters ranks second in the MAAC in field goal percentage (.556) and blocks (1.7 bpg).

ABOUT LOYOLA
Loyola has won two straight and four out of five.  The Greyhounds are coming off a 69-55 victory at Saint Peter's on Sunday, just the third win in Jersey City in program history, and sit tied for second place in the MAAC.  Sophomore guard Miriam McKenzie paces the Greyhounds and ranks second in the MAAC with 16.5 points per game.  She also leads the team with 2.9 assists per game and ranks second with 7.2 rebounds per contest.  Senior forward Kaitlin Grant ranks second on the team in scoring (11.9 ppg) and leads the Greyhounds with 7.8 rebounds per game.  Grant paces the MAAC in steals, averaging 3.2 per contest.  She also leads the team with six blocked shots.  Junior guard Erica DiClemente is third on the squad in both scoring (9.9 ppg) and rebounding (4.9 rpg).  Following today's game, Loyola hosts Canisius on Monday before visiting Siena and Marist next weekend.

MANHATTAN VS LOYOLA ALL-TIME
Manhattan and Loyola split the regular season series in 2008-09, with Loyola notching a 78-65 win at Draddy Gymnasium and the Lady Jaspers winning the rematch at Reitz Arena, 60-54.  However, the Greyhounds posted a 68-63 victory when the squads met in the first round of the MAAC Tournament.  Overall, Manhattan holds a 22-19 edge in the all-time series.

CANISIUS 69, MANHATTAN 65 (2 OT)
In a contest that featured eight ties, eight lead changes and a major comeback on each side, the Lady Jaspers dropped a thrilling double-overtime game at Canisius, 69-65, on Monday afternoon.  Canisius had a chance to win at the end of regulation, but Ellie Radke missed two free throws and the game went into overtime.  Manhattan had a seven-point lead with less than a minute left in the extra session, but Canisius drained a trio of three-pointers in the final minute to extend the game.  The Griffs then scored the first five points of the second overtime, and held on for the four-point victory.  Abby Wentworth played all 50 minutes and led the Lady Jaspers with 21 points, while Lindsey Loutsenhizer tied a career-high with 19 points and Michelle Pacheco added 11 points.
