TONIGHT'S GAME
Manhattan (3-4) wraps up a two-game road trip and its non-conference road slate with tonight's trip to West Point for a matchup with Army (5-3).  The Lady Jaspers, who have dropped three of their last four, fell 78-59 at Vermont on Saturday afternoon.  The Black Knights haven't played since last Wednesday, when they notched a 53-44 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson.  Army, which is 4-0 at home this season, has won two straight and four out of five.

ABOUT MANHATTAN
The Lady Jaspers wrap up their non-conference road schedule tonight.  Tonight's game also concludes a span where Manhattan played four out of five contests on the road.  Sophomore forward Lindsey Loutsenhizer tied a career-high with 19 points against Vermont on Saturday, and she leads the Lady Jaspers with 14.4 points per game.  Loutsenhizer also averages a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game.  Senior guard Michelle Pacheco ranks second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.1 points per game.  She leads the MAAC with 7.0 assists per game.  Sophomore guard Alyssa Herrington has drained a MAAC-high 3.0 three-pointers per game and ranks third on the team with 11.0 points per game.  Junior guard Abby Wentworth averages 10.0 points per game, while sophomore forward Nadia Peters paces the MAAC with a field goal percentage of .641.  Up next, the Lady Jaspers kick off a five-game homestand against Hofstra on Saturday.

ABOUT ARMY
After starting the season 1-2, Army has won four of its last five games.  Junior forward Erin Anthony is one rebound shy of averaging a double-double for the season.  She paces the Black Knights with 17.0 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.  Anthony is shooting .565 (65-of-115) from the field and also leads the team with 1.9 blocks per game.  Junior guard Nalini Hawkins ranks second on the squad with 9.8 points per game, while junior guard Jessie Coiffard and junior guard/forward Laura Baranek each average 8.4 points per game.  Coiffard has dished out a team-high 3.3 assists per game, and ranks second on the team with 6.0 rebounds per game.  She also leads Army in three-pointers per game with an average of 2.0 treys per contest.  The Black Knights, who were picked to finish sixth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, are a perfect 4-0 at home this season.  Army hosts No. 18 Oklahoma on Thursday night.

MANHATTAN VS ARMY ALL-TIME
Tonight's game is the 11th all-time meeting between Manhattan and Army, and the Lady Jaspers hold a 6-4 lead in the series.  However, the Black Knights won the last meeting, 51-47 last season at Draddy Gymnasium.  Manhattan's last victory over Army was a 72-65 triumph at the Northern Arizona Tournament on Nov. 25, 2005.  The Lady Jaspers haven't played at Army since the 1998-99 season.

VERMONT 78, MANHATTAN 59
Manhattan suffered its third loss in its last four games, 78-59 to host Vermont on Saturday afternoon at Patrick Gymnasium.  The Catamounts scored the first six points of the game, then used a 14-4 run to open up a 23-10 advantage midway through the first half.  After Vermont led 46-29 at the half, the Catamounts increased their lead to 21 points early in the second half.  Manhattan pulled back within 16 before the Catmounts countered with a 15-5 run to increase their lead to a game-high 26 points.  The Lady Jaspers got back within 15 with 1:27 left, but that's as close as they would get in Vermont's 78-59 victory.  Lindsey Loutsenhizer tied a career-high with 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace the Lady Jaspers.  Michelle Pacheco added 10 points and distributed seven assists.
