Riverdale, N.Y. ? The Manhattan College golf team stands in ninth place entering the second day of the FDU Knights Collegiate Golf Invitational being held at the Royce Brook Country Club in Hillsborough, NJ. Jasper junior Nicholas LaBanca was Manhattan's low medalist the first day with an 80, which tied him for 28th overall.
The Jaspers had a team score of 355 during the tournament's first day on Monday. Other scorers for the Jaspers on Day 1 were senior Adam Minbiole, who shot an 85 (tied for 40th overall); freshman Robert Kehoe, who posted an 87 to place in 44th overall and sophomore Jonathan Wilson, who shot a 103 to finish in 50th place overall. Freshman Patrick Bibaud had to withdraw with a broken finger.
Monmouth University is in first place heading into today's final round with a team score of 296. Saint Peter's College stands in second with a team score of 303.
