Today's Game: The Lady Jaspers will take on Canisius College today in conference play. This will mark the 31st meeting between these two programs as Manhattan trailed the Golden Griffs, 24-16 in the all-time series. The Lady J's split in their two meetings with Canisius last season, with the Golden Griffs winning the most recent contest. In that game, senior Gabrielle Cottrell scored her career high 21 points while also grabbing six rebounds and dishing out three assists. In the Lady Jaspers' win against Canisus, Kelly Regan set her career high in points with 22, narrowly missing a double-double grabbing nine boards. The Lady J's will look to sweep Niagara and Canisius on the road for the first time since the 2003-03 season.

History Vs. Canisius: The Lady Jaspers are 16-24 all-time against the Golden Griffs. The two teams split in their two meetings last year, with two seperate Lady Jaspers scoring a career high in points, Regan (22) and Cottrell (21) in each game.

History vs. MAAC: The Lady J's have 194-204 record while playing MAAC opponents. Last season they lost a second round game to MAAC Champion Marist College, 55-42. Manhattan finished 7-11 last year in conference play and is currently 5-1 this season.

Flood Warning: Senior Caitlin Flood has scored a total 1,211 points in her career. She has jumped up to the 7th all-time scorer for Manhattan. Flood passed the career milestone in a 76-51 win over Howard University in the Brown University Tournament. Flood is the first Lady Jasper to join the 1,000 point club since Rosalee Mason did it in 2004 and the 16th in Manhattan College Women's Basketball history.

Record on the road: The Lady J's hold a 183-280 record while playing road games.

From Down Town: Manhattan leads all MAAC schools in three point shooting percentage as they are shooting an outstanding .372 from behind the arc. Senior Gabrielle Cottrell is currently 3rd in the conference in three point percentage as she is shooting .438. Fellow senior Aubrie Dellinger is seventh on that list with a .405 percentage.

Awards: Senior Caitlin Flood was named MAAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 12. Flood scored 27 points in the Lady J's only game of the week. She was 9-15 from the field as well as 7-8 from the free throw line. This is Flood's third time receiving this award this season.

Last Time Out: The Lady Jaspers kept rolling as they cruised to a 75-65 win over Rider University. Gabrielle Cottrell led all scorers with 20 points in the Lady J's victory. A second half run by the Lady Broncs was not enough, as Manhattan's defense held them off for the victory. A pair of free throw's by Nicole Harrison put the game out of reach for Rider, steering them to thier 7th loss in MAAC play. The Lady Jaspers improve to 6-1 in the conference and 11-7 overall.
