Worcester, Mass. (August 27, 2006)--The Lady Jaspers continued their perfect start to the 2006 campaign with a 3-0 victory over the College of the Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon.
Chrissy Reina got the Lady Jaspers off to a tremendous start in the 16th minute, firing a shot from five yards away off a cross from freshman
Courtney McMahon to give Manhattan the early lead. Fellow freshman Christine Fischer was also credited with an assist on the play

Katie Kuntz scored the winner in overtime over CCSU on Friday, and against the Crusaders, she picked up where she left off in the 36th minute. Freshman Kim Balistierri ripped off a shot that was saved by Holy Cross keeper Jessica Pietrowicz, Kuntz was opportunistic and put away the rebound to give Manhattan a 2-0 lead.

Tracey Colantonio got in on the scoring action, putting away the third goal of the game on a 20-yard rocket that beat Pietrowicz for her first collegiate goal.

Caitlin Trupiano, who played the second, were rarely tested, each just needing to make one save.
Manhattan will attempt to continue its winning ways when they take on the Great Danes of the University of Albany in the state capital on September 4th at 1:00 pm.
