LE MOYNE BESTS WOMEN'S LACROSSE, 10-6

Syracuse, N.Y. (April 8, 2006)- Jenny Carman scored a goal that tied the game at the beginning of the second half and added an assist, but the Lady Jaspers dropped a MAAC game at Le Moyne this afternoon at Nilan Athletic Complex. Manhattan falls to 3-6, 1-2 in MAAC play, while the Dolphins improve to 8-2, 4-0 MAAC.

After Lauren Civardi provided the Lady Jaspers with the early lead with an unassisted goal 8:02 into the game, Le Moyne scored the next two to take a 2-1 lead.

The teams traded goals over the next 15 minutes, culminating with Carman's goal with 27:17 left in the game. Civradi picked up the helper.

The Dolphins ran off five of the next six tallies to open up the lead.

Alicia Psillos paced Manhattan with three goals, with Molly Pheterson accounting for the final goal.

Ashley Devins made eight saves on the day.

Manhattan gets right back to it, traveling to Loudonville, N.Y. to take on Siena, Sunday, April 9. The game is slated to begin at 12 noon.
