West Orange, N.J. (April 25, 2006)- As Manhattan's top golfers prepare for the upcoming MAAC Championships, those Jaspers not participating in the Championships represented Manhattan at the Peacock Invitational, held at the 7,079 yard, par-72 Neshanic Valley Golf Club.
Nick Mayo paced the Jasper effort, finishing in a tie for 30th after carding a round of 84. Other Manhattan scorers were Steven Rentz (90, T-43rd), Kevin Judge (99, 54th),
Mike Goll (100, 55th), and
Thomas Camisa (102, 56th).
Manhattan team score of 373 placed the team 11th overall, as Fordham took home the team title with a team score of 310. The Rams' Brian McClure was the medalist after carding a one-over-par round of 73.
