GOLF FINISHES SIXTH AT NYU SPRING INVITATIONAL

FULL RESULTS

Scarsdale, N.Y. (April 11, 2006)- Sean Oroho carded his best round of the spring, posting a score of 78, to pace Manhattan to a sixth place finish at the NYU Spring Invitational, held at the 6,461-yard, par-71 Sunningdale CC.

Iona College took home the team title with a score of 303, while the Gaels' Russel Giglio earned medalist honors after putting up an even par round of 71, three strokes ahead of the field after posting a score of 33 on the front nine.

Other scorers for the Jaspers were James Marchewka (81, T-17th), Adam Minbiole (84, T23rd), Chris Vieau (90, T38th), and Scott Burton (91, T40th).
