Emmitsburg, MD (May 6, 2005)- The women's lacrosse team ended their season today against NEC Champions Mt. Saint Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD in the NCAA Play-in-game, 18-2. The Lady Jaspers final overall record for the 2005 season is 9-8.

Mary Dudek scored under five minutes later narrowing Mt. Saint Mary's lead to four goals. With 2:35 left to play in the half the Mountaineers increased their lead by scoring three goals before the end of the half. Going into halftime the score was 9-2.
The Lady Jaspers were shutout by the Mountaineers in the second half. Mt. Saint Mary's scored its ninth goal of the half at the 7:05 mark, 18-2. The game remained scoreless for the rest of the half.

Ashley Devins finished the game with six saves while the Mountaineers goalie Naomi Campano Radio tallied eight.
