Victoria Carman led the team scoring two goals. The Jaspers drop to a 0-4-0 overall record while Mt. St. Mary's record improves to 5-4.
Manhattan was shutout in the first half by Mt. St. Mary's. At the half the Lady Jaspers were down by eight goals.
The Lady J's didn't get on the board until there was 18:55 left on the clock in the second half. The goal was scored by
Victoria Carman with an assist by senior
Jamie Carter. Carman's second goal came with 15:12 left to play when she finished a free position shot making the score 12-2. The Mount scored two more goals before Carter found senior
Mary Dudek with 9:02 remaining, 14-3. The Jaspers fourth goal came at 7:13 unassisted by freshman
Alicia Psillos. The Mount scored two more times before the end of regulation.
The Lady J's play again on Sunday, April 3 when they travel to Longwood in Farmville, VA. Game time is slated for 12:00 p.m.
