Newark, NJ (November 21, 2004)- Sophomores Courtney Arduini (Selkirk, NY/Bethlehem Central) and Nicole Mason (Yorktown, NY/Yorktown) and freshman Maura McGowan (Kalamazoo, MI/Hatchett Catholic Central) each won multiple individual events to lead women's swimming to a sweep of a double dual meet Sunday against NJIT and Hunter. The Lady Jaspers now have won three straight and improve their record to 6-3.

Mason won the 200 individual medley in a time of 2:26.70 and the 100 backstroke (1:08.73) and also swam the first leg of Manhattan's 200 medley relay win (2:05.64).

Meanwhile, Arduini won the 100 butterfly (1:03.59) and the 100 breaststroke.

McGowan broke a Manhattan school record in the 50 freestyle, swimming in a time of 26.28, and also took the 100 freestyle (1:01.70).

Manhattan returns to the pool on Saturday, December 4, when they will compete in another double dual meet. They will face off against St. Joseph's and SUNY-Old Westbury in Patchogue, NY. The first race is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
