Nikoletta Deutsch posted her career high in a Manhattan uniform in three categories with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Junior

Serra Sangar tallied 12 points and 3 steals.
Manhattan started off slow in the first half, but at the 12:01 mark Nikoletta Duetsch knocked down a three-pointer to give Manhattan the lead, 10-9. Manhattan would not trail for the remainder of the game. That score kicked off a 10-4 run, and the Lady Jaspers went into the half leading, 27-21.
The Lady Jaspers scored 41 points in the second half, highlighted by Mason posting 12 points and 8 rebounds. Manhattan did not let up from the first half. They jumped out to a 10-2 run, eventually capturing their season opener with the final score of 68-47. The Lady Jaspers caused 21 turnovers, and tallied 14 steals for the game.
Leading the way for the Golden Knights were Takira Allen who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds, and Ali Roberts who posted 11 points and 4 rebounds.
Manhattan will head down to Boca Raton, Florida for the Florida Atlantic Tournament, where the Lady Jaspers will face Middle Tennessee State on Friday, November 27 at 7 pm. On Saturday, November 28 they will face either Florida Atlantic or Norfolk State at 5/7 pm.
