Riverdale, NY (October 31, 2003)- The Manhattan men's soccer team cruised to its third victory in the MAAC, beating Siena 4-1 today at Gaelic Park. Manhattan is now 3-3-2 in the MAAC (4-10-2 overall) while Siena falls to a 5-2-1 record in the MAAC (6-10-1 overall). Antonio Treglia scored twice for the Jaspers, including the game winner.

Joseph Pumo began the scoring at the 22:30 mark after he flew through a pack of Siena defenders, placing the ball passed the Saint's goalkeeper Patrick Henry. The Saints out-shot the Jaspers 10-2 in the first half but could not finish the ball.

Six minutes into the second half Siena's Paul Ciovacco finished a penalty kick tying the game 1-1. The game was not tied for long. Four minutes later Manhattan's Edward McCaffrey blasted a shot that deflected off of Henry and Treglia finished the ball making the score 2-1. At the 69:04 mark, Treglia scored again, this time off a penalty kick to extend the lead to 3-1. With less than three minutes remaining Barry Tulloch of Manhattan finished the scoring when he took off on a breakaway, off a pass from Rory Healy, making the final score 4-1.

Jasper goalkeeper Collin Leaver played a spectacular game once again, saving nine shots for Manhattan. Henry finished the game with one save.
